630 thousand sturgeon fingerlings released into the reservoir in the construction of the bridge across the Volga in Dubna
This is the first stage of artificial reproduction of water and environmental resources. It is planned to produce 1.2 million fingerlings weighing over three tons. The average weight of fry: 2.7 grams.
Stocking is carried out under the control of the Moscow-Oka territorial Directorate of Federal Agency for fishery in the framework of compensation of damage caused to aquatic bioresources and their habitat during the construction of the bridge in the river Volga.
To compensate for the loss in the Volga river near Dubna, specialists of all-Russian research Institute of fisheries recommended to release the fry in the Uglich reservoir: this reservoir is able to take such a large amount of fish – more than three tons. According to their forecasts to Dubna sturgeon will be able to get his way.
The first stage of the stocking is completed, second due in a few days. Work is carried out in accordance with the law. The total cost of the purchased fish is 40 million rubles. The funding source is Road Fund of the Moscow region.
