Carpfishing: how to catch carp in the pond salescom
Fishing on the mud and scrap the bottom is a very difficult topic, it is impossible to fully reveal in a single article. However, we hope to share enough information that you tried to compete with the carp in such difficult conditions.
Tools and tactics for catching carp
“Helicopter” is an excellent choice for fishing muddy and cluttered the bottom, because the top locking bead may be located at the required distance from the sinker depending on the depth of the sediment. Even when the sinker falls through the sludge, it is not to drag him on the leash and does not degrade the presentation of the snap.
Installation for sludge
Where conditions permit, you can fish on the so-called “naked helicopter” (the leash is attached directly to the main line). On smooth soft silt flyuorokarbonovaya leska looks more advantageous in terms of concealment gear and stealth snap compared to lilcora. We should not forget that, no matter how strong nor was the main fishing line, a swivel to which is attached a leash, can cut fishing line under high pressure while playing fish. This problem can now be solved thanks to a unique set firm Fox Heli/Chod Buffer Bead. In this set includes a special bead, acting as a buffer and not giving the swivel damaging the main line.
When fishing from a small and relatively pure silty layer with small amount of debris, you can use a combined leash. The main part of the leash fit of “braids.” It is desirable that the fishing line sank well and had some rigidity. Then the leash will take critically balanced nozzle away from the sinkers. At the same time, “twist” should not be too hard, so she could repeat the irregular contours of the bottom, even if the sinker is completely gone in the mud. The fishing line is attached to a counter node to the 3-5-cm segment of the fluorocarbon that is tied to the hook № 8-6 bent outward ear. After this, the fluorocarbon on the ferry is attached to a smooth bend that improves the presentation of the equipment and sasakamoose installation.
Based on the conditions of fishing, you should use the maximum light sinker, which, however, will allow you to work on the distance. It’s simple: the heavier the sinker, the easier and deeper it is buried in the silt. Can creep a doubt, that the masses of light weights will be insufficient to obtain reliable notch. However, even the smallest sinker with the big share of probability will be included in the mud at some depth, which greatly increase the resistance and will contribute to the reliable notch.
When fishing from silt at short and medium ranges it is possible to use small PVA sticks made from PVA mesh. STIK-mix consists mainly of well-dusty granular mixture with addition of a small amount of chopped boilies to enhance the nutritional value of the mixture.
One small thing: all the ingredients are taken dry to the mix were floating. This allows you to create a “parachute effect”: when the sinker falls to the bottom of the reservoir, the glue stick will hold the leash in a raised position and pull it away from the sinker to the snap busine. After dissolution of PVA-stick attachment and the leash, being informed over the bottom of the reservoir gently down on the sludge of any type.
Such tactics should not be used when fishing at long range, because the air resistance of the stick in flight can greatly shift the buffer bead up or simply carry it to the main line. In this case, a PVA-stick can be replaced by a piece of floating soluble PVA-foams, which performs the same function, but does not provide the nozzle attractive food around.
That should not be used on soft mud
Sinkers-type Inline and pedestrian materials in the braid not the best suited for fishing with silt. When the sinker will sink in the mud, hard drive pin material will be awfully puff up significantly impairing the presentation of the nozzle. The soft sludge is one of the few cases when not use and classic PVA packages. Tightly Packed PVA bag is a heavy object and can easily sink into the mud, and the contents simply disappear from sight in the thick sedimentary layer.
When fishing with a thicker layer of mud or on a heavily cluttered area is to replace the combo on a short leash hard, which will create a “naked chod festival-rig”. The leash is made of very hard fluorocarbon apply hook No. 6 bent outwards by the lug and floating 16mm pop-up. Short leash attached to a floating Boyle will raise the line during the passage of tooling through the water. This will allow the sinker to sink in the mud, and slowly sinking leash with pop-up carefully rest on top of underwater debris — perfect presentation of the nozzles!
Immediately before casting the finished leashes can be a time to hold dip or dipping into the gel to increase the attractiveness of the nozzle. In this case, the gel or dip will prevent the absorption nozzle of any unpleasant odors.
As in the case with the wrong leash, incorrectly chosen strategy of feeding can be expensive when fishing on soft silt. Any bait should have a light color below, being on top of the silt to remain visible to the carp.
When fishing is conducted with a deep sludge, it is better to refuse from feeding the whole handle, because they can not only drown in the mud and disappear out of sight, but potentially able to trigger carp into active feeding under the sedimentary layer.
Easy and a good dusting of loose bait, which is used in sticks, perfect as a base. This weightless mix is perfectly located on top of any silt or debris underwater, and thanks to the bright color of the bait stands out against a dark background. Any additives in the bait should also be light enough: for example, chopped boilies, micropellets larvae or maggots. You might think that living larvae quickly bury in the silt and not visible. However, on the contrary, it seems that the maggots moving on the surface of the sludge, and this extra movement only improves the attractiveness of the bait, since the output a “static” mix to a new level.
Of course, much easier to find solid ground in the pond and dropping it in the wrong place all of their fishing rods, but you can catch much more carp, if you’re a little braver, and place your nozzle on the cluttered or muddy area.
