Fishing nets supplied with reflectors
Norwegian scientists have come up with how to find lost in the ocean by fishermen the network and save the lives of millions of water inhabitants.
A simple device for this purpose invented Tone Berg, an employee of the Norwegian research Institute SINTEF. To fishing nets, he proposed to attach a card reflectors (no more!) that are easy to find in the sea using sonar.
Sea creatures should bless Tonya Berg, experts say. According to fishing companies each year fishermen lose out in the ocean about 700 tons of fishing gear. And they work as mindless killers for 30 years. Every year gets them and killed 650 thousand inhabitants of the oceans.
No more! tested on lake Blacklitterman about the Norwegian Trondheim. Results as noted in the report, SINTEF, exceeded all expectations.
