Habitats chosen perch
The most preferred places to live in bass lake — deep and uneven bottom, with strong soil, designated deposits at the bottom of the snags, large boulders, steep underwater slopes of the island. River bass like to hold in deep pools of water in areas with weak currents, with a strong current behind the bends. Duck hunting over flooded Koryagin, trees, piles of bridges, hiding from the water jets.
In large bodies of water, the perch is in the backwaters, the surface of which there is aquatic vegetation. In such places it perches gather in flocks and prey on young fish living in the seaweed. On such sites the habitat of perch can be identified by the water: if the water was abruptly covered by small ripples, then the fry are saved from persecution perch.
Weather and bass fishing
- Weather can be determined by the fish living in the aquarium. If it’s bad weather, and aquarium fish have come in the increased movement, actively search for and consume food — there will come good weather.
- Fish ceases to peck about a day and a half before prolonged bad weather.
- If you catch and keep in a jar of leeches, it is possible to monitor the condition of the weather. During good and clear weather leeches safely stay on the bottom. If you are expecting rain or snow — they rise to the surface. Before thunderstorms in summer and in winter before a snowstorm, leeches rise to the surface, are restless, tossing and turning. If you are expecting strong wind, the leech will swim up and down.
- When it begins to snow, the biting is getting worse, as at strong cold, it doesn’t work for perch, burbot, walleye.
