According to Severo-the Western territorial administration Rosrybolovstva, in 2017 to compensate for the damage caused to aquatic bioresources, was 72 signed the agreement on artificial reproduction with 54 local businesses. As a result, in fishery water bodies of the Leningrad regions released 328 275 instances of mixed-age juveniles and larvae.

In the framework of the gozzadini branches of Glavrybvod in 2017 in water objects of fishery Leningrad regions released 3 363 862 pieces of different ages of juvenile fish and fish larvae.

As told Fishnews in the press-service SZTU Rosrybolovstva, today the specialists are tasks to increase the efficiency of works on artificial reproduction on the basis of the modernization of existing material and technical base, reconstruction of obsolete facilities, construction of new plants, the attraction of commercial fish farms for rearing juveniles. In the near future it is necessary to organize the monitoring of the current state of stocks of valuable commercial fish, whose numbers are steadily declining, including objects that are in the red book. New objects of artificial reproduction, according to scientists, should become such the most valuable commercial species – some forms of whitefish of lake Ladoga (Volkhov along with), Nevsky whitefish, perch and others.
