Omsk frontier guards detained fishermen-poachers
On the Irtysh river near the village of Big Atmas, the border guards detained two fishermen-poachers. Violators caught a rare and valuable species of fish — 61 instance sterlets and sturgeon. Poachers fished on the boat type “Kazanka” with an outboard motor. They took to the waters of the Irtysh river, near the village of Big Atmas Cherlaksky district of Omsk region.
However, as explained in the press service of border Department of the FSB of Russia in Omsk region, licenses for catching fish they had. In the network got 61 instance sterlets and sturgeon fishing on which is forbidden by the legislation in the sphere of fishery and protection of wildlife.
