Russia plans to ban free fishing
The Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation amending Federal law “On fisheries and conservation of aquatic biological resources” according to which recreational fishing can be paid.
Under the bill, every fisherman needs to purchase a patent giving him the right to fish. Its value can range from 1 thousand to 5 thousand rubles depending on the region. The fine for fishing without a license can be equated to the amount of one minimum wage, writes the edition “Arguments of week” referring to a source in the Agency.
Recall, currently fishing in the country is free and free, provided that the fishing is on the reservoirs of common use and within the time when it is not prohibited. However, there is an extensive list of restrictions, which includes places, dates, methods and tools of fishing, as well as the types allowed for catching fish.
