The biggest of the small fish caught in Russia!
One of the most interesting, nutritious and delicious fish freshwater is the eel (family Cyprinidae). Unfortunately this fish is not highly prized by fishermen. The fact that they rarely weigh more than 130 grams, it is even more surprising if caught eel weighing more than 137 grams on the Amur river.
Long this “monster” was 30 cm and the approximate age 8.5-9 years, and unfortunately this species rarely live more than 10 years.
Most likely a weak interest in the fish among the fishermen explain several factors.
- Light weight, very hard to brag about the trophy when its weight does not even reach 200 grams.
- The peculiar structure of body very similar to a snake, slippery, so it can cause resentment.
Few know how to cook it correctly. Loaches you can catch if you know how to catch and cook them, almost nobody knows!
Because few monitors such records, as happened on the Amur river. However, the fact of capture of the fish recorded video and photo evidence. It was caught on a regular (utilisng) rod with a standard hook for this fishing (hook 2.5), it makes sense when fishing for eel.
Given that the carp fry when breeding in ponds (loach belong to the family Cyprinidae) in 3-4 months reaches a weight of 300 grams, the record went unnoticed. Although the record is definitely very interesting! A lot of fishermen catches a rather large (weight) fish, but to catch the biggest and at the same time one of the smallest (weight) of fish you need to be able to such record requires diligence and effort! It just makes sense to congratulate Russia as a country where there was a record with this obvious and interesting fact!
